Ajang penghargaan musik video yang paling ditunggu-tunggu anak muda di tahun 2012 MTV Video Music Awards akhirnya sukses digelar. Acara yang diadakan di Staples Center Los Angeles pada Kamis Malam (06/09) waktu setempat diisi dengan berbagai penampilan fantastis dan juga menyenangkan.
Penghargaan bergengsi yang diadakan tiap tahunnya tersebut kini nampaknya mempunyai juara baru yang menyabet beberapa trophy di MTV Video Music Awards 2012, yaitu One Direction. Boyband asal Inggris tersebut berhasil memuaskan para Directioners dengan membawa 3 penghargaan sekaligus dan membuat One Direction sebagai ‘Man of the Match’ pada sore hari tersebut. Sedangkan penghargaan terbesar ‘Video of the Year’ berhasil direbut oleh Rihanna lewat video klip ‘We Found Love’.
